Craft with the Wind: A Lights On Craft Event

  • Sorg Opera House 63 South Main Street Middletown, OH, 45044 United States (map)

Join us for a special showing of Gone with the Wind where we leave the lights on for all you crafters to craft with fellow crafters! Crochet, knitting, needlepoint, macramé, drawing, painting, digital art, puzzling, and anything in-between! Plenty of room for groups to sit together. We have limited tables, macramé racks (bring some hooks), and plenty of room for all your supplies to sit next to you.

Gone with the Wind originally appeared at the Sorg in 1939. After 85 years, it returns. Ranked 6th on the American Film Institutes 100 Greatest Films, GWTW is one of those movies that everyone should see at least once. This is a family friendly event with an intermission. Popcorn, candy, soda, wine and beer will be available at concessions.

$8 at the door - cash or credit. Intermissions approximately halfway through movie.

Soft chatting is permissible during the show, but we ask that patrons be considerate to those around them. Painting and “messy” crafts will require some sort of covering for the floors and will be limited to the rear of the theater.
